Directions To Us

None of the online maps you can get seem to be able to point us out exactly. You can get to John Rogers Drive, but that's about as close as it will bring you. The driving directions they give are not the best either.
So I am going to put my own driving directions, along with a map of the track area close up. You will get to see some of my great map making skills. lol

From the Huntsville area:
Get on I65 heading south.
Stay on I65 south until you see the exit for I59 north. It will be an exit in the far left lane.
Get on I59 heading north towards Birmingham. Once you see the I459 exit come up, take it going south. It is where I459 starts, so it is the only way to go. Stay on I459 until you get to exit # 31. It is the “Derby Parkway” exit. Take that exit. At the bottom of the exit take a right onto Derby Parkway. Go to the end of that road. There will be a red light. At the light take a right onto John Rogers Drive. Then go about 300-400 yards. You will see a flashing yellow light. It will be the first light you come to. Take a left there, that is “Gate A”. Once you go through the gate, you need to take four first rights. As soon as you can take a right, do it 4 times. That will take you around the old horse track and to the backside of the track. You will end up at a guard shack with a security guard. Tell him/her you are here to see us at the adoption kennel and they will let you through. We are the last kennel on the right.

From the Gadsden area:
Get on I59 heading south towards Birmingham. Once you see the I459 exit come up, take it going south. It is where I459 starts, so it is the only way to go. Stay on I459 until you get to exit # 31. From the Anniston area:
Get on I20 East, heading towards Birmingham. Once you see the I459 exit come up, take it heading north. Stay on I459 until you get to exit # 31. It will be the very first exit you come to. It is the “Derby Parkway” exit. Take that exit. At the bottom of the exit take a left onto Derby Parkway. Go to the end of that road. There will be a red light. At the light take a right onto John Rogers Drive. Then go about 300-400 yards. You will see a flashing yellow light. It will be the first light you come to. Take a left there. That is “Gate A”. If there is a guard there tell him you are coming to see us at the adoption center, and they will let you through. Once you go through the gate, you need to take four first rights. At the bottom of the exit take a left onto Derby Parkway. Go to the end of that road; there will be a red light. At the light take a right onto John Rogers Drive. Once on John Rogers Dr. look for "Gate A", it will be the first left turn at the flashing caution lights, and go in there. If there is a guard there tell him you are coming to see us at the adoption center, and they will let you through. Once you go through the gate, you need to take four first rights. As soon as you can take a right, do it 4 times. That will take you around the old horse track and to the backside of the track. You will end up at another guard shack. There will be a guard there. Tell him/her that you are coming to see us, and they will let you through. Now go to the end of that little road, and we are the last kennel on the right.
