Our Adoptable Greyhounds
Date of Birth: November 25, 2003
Sex: Female
Personality: Meagan is a very sweet girl. She is a bit shy, so we need someone willing to take the time to work with her. She will not be good with cats and or small dogs and or young children (under 10). If you don't have any of these then she will be perfect for you.
Date of Birth: April 16, 2005
Sex: Male
Personality: Tommy will make another fine greyhound for you to adopt. He is a sweet boy, and does well with kids and small dogs. He probably needs a home without cats though.
D.O.B.: November 16, 2002
Sex: Male
Personality: Okay everyone, we have had Rags here longer than any other grey in our adoption kennel. He is very sweet and very outgoing. Even though he will be six in November, he has plenty of energy, and it takes him a little while to work it off. He does calm down (like all greyhounds do) it just takes a little longer than normal. He really has a great personality, and does great with my small dog and our cat.
It's way past time for him to get a home. If you think your home might be good for Rags, just come on out.
Sex: Male
D.O.B: October 27, 2003
Personality: Another good boy, nothing bad to say about Heat either. He will be good with kids and other pets. Heat has been here the second longest in our adoption kennel. I'm not sure why he's not been adopted. There have anly been a couple of folks that even looked at the ole boy. He will make a great first greyhound, or even a second or third if you already have a greyhound. Just come out and take a look at him, you'll see how good of a boy he is.
Greyhound adoption is forever, not just a year or two. Before you adopt, you need to really put some thought into your future
plans: Do you still see yourself with a greyhound? Will you be moving to a place that won't allow pets? Are you in school now, and
when you graduate you will be too busy for your grey? If you are single, and plan on getting married, will your greyhound still
have a home? If you are married and get a divorce, will the greyhound still have a home, or have to be returned?
These are just a
few examples. Please think ahead of time and be prepared to adopt, because it is a life changing event.
